Keep Texas Roads Safe by following common sense and the law.

SIMPLE RULES TO FOLLOW:

  • CHECK I.D.'s and learn to recognize a fake I.D.. Serving a minor is a crime and will send you straight to jail. Report any violations.
  • Stop serving anyone who is already intoxicated. You will be held responsible if you continue to serve this person. Be prepared to go to jail and pay large fines if an intoxicated person that you served causes an accident.

DON'T GO TO JAIL! As a server of alcohol, you can go straight to jail for serving a minor or intoxicated person in many states. Be prepared to pay a large fine and spend up to a year in jail if you choose to serve a minor or intoxicated person.

You really can make a difference in your state by being a responsible seller or server of alcohol. It is your job, responsibility, and civic duty to Keep U.S. Roads Safe!

   Did you know?
  • Did you know that alcohol-related deaths on Texas roads account for over 50% of the accidents in Texas every year?
  • Did you know that Texas ranks the highest for alcohol related deaths?

Learn the Law!
It is not required by the state that you take a TABC certified class. However, taking the class and knowing the law is your best defense in understanding how to deal with serving alcohol in the state of Texas.

Ask your employer if he requires you to be TABC Certified before you take this class. Following Texas law will keep you safe from lawsuits and keep drunk drivers off the streets.
